KORU Counter Bar Stool (68cm Seat Height)

Organic Tactile Harmony & Elevated Island Comfort – The KORU Counter Stool

The kitchen island has evolved into the central gathering hub of modern homes: a place where morning espresso is enjoyed, weekday meals are shared, and guests congregate during weekend entertaining. The KORU Counter Bar Stool (68 cm Seat Height) is engineered to elevate this ritual by blending modern aesthetic discipline with the organic warmth of rustic and bohemian design traditions.

Built on a rigid, handcrafted solid wood frame, the stool features an anatomically profiled backrest that cradles the upper thoracic spine while leaving shoulder movement completely free. The seat is padded with high-resilience upholstery foam wrapped in premium performance fabrics, offering comfortable support through casual morning breakfasts and extended evening conversations alike.

Key Ergonomic & Structural Advantages:

Calibrated Counter Height (68 cm): Engineered to provide natural 20–25 cm thigh clearance beneath residential kitchen counters and breakfast peninsulas standing 90–95 cm high.
Supportive Curved Backrest: Profiled contour delivers gentle upper-back support without visual bulk, maintaining an open line of sight across kitchen work surfaces.
Sculpted Foam Seating: High-density cushioning with a 47 cm seat depth distributes body weight evenly, preventing pressure points during extended sitting.
Integrated Structural Footrest: Reinforced lower wooden cross-rail allows seated diners to rest their feet naturally, relieving lower back tension.

Bespoke Fabric Selection & Timber Staining:

Each KORU counter stool is crafted individually to your interior finish choices:

Performance Upholstery: Choose from high-wear bouclés, textured chenilles, stain-resistant woven fabrics, and soft velvets in neutral, earthy, or warm tonal shades.
Solid Wood Stains: Customize the hardwood legs and back uprights in Natural Oak, Warm Honey, Rich Walnut, or Deep Matte Black.

✦ Dedicated Workshop Lead Time: Handcrafted to individual finish parameters within a dedicated 21-business-day fabrication window.

Frequently Asked Questions – KORU Counter Stool

Q: What counter height is best suited for this 68 cm stool?

A: The 68 cm seat height is designed for standard residential kitchen islands and breakfast counters that measure between 90 cm and 95 cm in height. This leaves a comfortable 22–27 cm clearance between the seat and the underside of your counter for your legs.

Q: How do I specify my custom fabric and timber stain choices?

A: Simply add your chosen upholstery collection, colorway, and wooden leg stain into the order notes during checkout. You can also contact our support team directly via WhatsApp or email with your order number to coordinate your exact combination or request fabric samples.

Q: Does the stool arrive fully assembled?

A: Yes! The KORU counter stool arrives fully assembled with factory-torqued wood joinery and protective floor glides, ready to be placed at your kitchen counter immediately.

Q: How should I clean and maintain the upholstered seat?

A: Routine maintenance involves gentle vacuuming using an upholstery brush nozzle. In case of accidental liquid or food spills, blot immediately using a clean, dry microfiber cloth without scrubbing. For persistent marks, use water-based mild upholstery foam.

Absolutely delighted with this table — the craftsmanship is top-notch and it looks absolutely fabulous. The service was first-class too. Thomas was incredibly helpful from the very beginning and even went above and beyond by delivering it and helping me set the table up. It was very easy to assemble, but as I didn’t have anyone around to help me, it was such a thoughtful gesture and really appreciated. I would highly recommend this company and their products. Fantastic quality, excellent service, and such a bargain!
